We stumbled upon Pastificio Artigianale di Canneto by chance, and it turned out to be one of the best discoveries of our trip! It's a small, unassuming spot tucked away in Genoa, and you might miss it if you aren't looking for it. But the crowd of locals outside was a great sign, so we decided to give it a try for lunch.
This place is a must-visit for any pasta lover. The concept is brilliant: you get to combine your choice of fresh, homemade pasta with any sauce you want, and they prepare it right in front of you.
We had to try the Trofie al Pesto, the quintessential dish of the Ligurian region. The pesto was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. My husband, a truffle fan, went for the ravioli with truffles and absolutely loved it. The portions were also a very pleasant surprise—even the smallest size was generous and satisfying.
For an authentic, delicious, and affordable meal, this place is unbeatable. The quality of the food is outstanding, and it's a great spot to try different pasta and sauce combinations. We will definitely be back to try more of their pasta variations on our next visit to Genoa.- Servizio

@NotsochillPhil on YouTube. I had my lunch here while in Genoa and I would highly recommend this place. See my short on YouTube we had Pesto Gnocchi and Truffle Ravioli with a small dessert of tiramisu. I had a large Gnocchi and the Mrs had a medium Ravioli and it was plenty. The dishes are served in paper bowls with a flour tortilla but dont let this put you off as I wish mine didn't have to end. 😀

I highly recommend this place for people who are trying pasta for the first time in Italy. I am from India and I had pesto pasta many a times in past but what I had here is truly amazing. Smiling staff and they explain you the dish if you are new to this.

Stopped in here while exploring the back streets of Genova. Fantastic pasta dishes that were reasonably priced. Their fresh pesto is out of this world. The portions are a bit on the smaller side, but that’s okay, it was exactly what I needed to recharge and keep going.

Lovely little place with extremely yummy pasta and ravioli. Make sure to try pumpkin orange with walnut sauce for a desert style ravioli if you're into these flavours ;)

It was a blessing for me - they have a nice selection of vegan pasta and portion sizes are great too!
Among the best and authentuc pasta in the city. Perfect for tasting the different original genovese pasta variants with different sauces. Also the price is very good and fair. Clear must see for every visit in genova!

I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious pasta and excellent service. The restaurant's popularity speaks to its success, and I highly recommend it. I would gladly return. The prices are reasonable, offering a choice of three portion sizes (small, medium, or large) 🤌🏽

Honestly an amazing place. Definitely go here if you get the chance ! The ability to choose what pasta you have with the sauce is such an awesome concept. And it tasted super fresh and juicy. No complaints from me. Even the lemonade from the fridge was delicious. Overall a 10/10

Seriously excellent food and service from the lovely ladies. I'd heard about the vegan ravioli and it was fantastic. Very good prices, too. The size medium was just enough - if I had got the large one, I probably would have burst! So, so good. I would love for them to also have a vegan pesto option.

Basil and parmesan was bursting with flavor. Such a balanced taste. Wait time is around 10 minutes. Fair price. I am sad that I did not get myself pesto Genovese on the way back home.

Amazing place. The owner is a total sweetheart. We ordered a couple things in a small size and they are not so small at all for a very reasonable price! Best pesto ever. Would definitely recommend.
